Prelude cluster problems we solve
Most 4th-gen Prelude cluster failures come down to aging capacitors and heat-cracked solder joints on the PCB. We fix the root cause at the board level.
Speedometer & Tachometer Repair
Dead or intermittent speedometer and tachometer are usually caused by cracked solder joints and failed capacitors on the cluster board. We rework the actual fault.
Backlight & Illumination
Dim, flickering, or completely dead cluster backlighting. We trace the lighting circuit and replace failed components instead of rigging LED strips.
Fuel & Temperature Gauge
Fuel gauge reads wrong or temp gauge is dead? We diagnose the gauge driver circuit and fix the board-level cause.
Capacitor & Solder Rework
Aging electrolytic capacitors and heat-cycled solder joints are the root cause of most Prelude cluster failures. We recap and rework the entire board.

Ship your cluster
Remove your instrument cluster and ship it to our Orlando, FL shop. Pack it well to protect the board and gauges.
Board-level repair
We diagnose the PCB, recap capacitors, rework solder joints, and replace any failed components.
Test and return
We bench test the repaired cluster and ship it back with return shipping included. Typical turnaround is 1-3 business days.
