Always-On Design
The Bose amp powers up the moment you open the car door — not when you turn on the radio. This constant duty cycle ages components far faster than amps in other vehicles.
Capacitor Degradation
Electrolytic capacitors dry out over time. The electrolyte leaks onto the PCB, corroding solder traces and copper runs. This is the #1 long-term failure mode.
Output Relay Wear
The relay that switches speaker output fails through contact wear or cold solder joints. A dead relay means zero sound from all speakers, even though the head unit is working fine.
Voltage Regulator Failure
The voltage stabilizer IC delivers unstable power when it fails, which can cascade and destroy the DSP chip. Catching this early saves the board from a more expensive repair.

How We Fix It
Board-level diagnosis and repair, not a unit swap.
Visual Inspection
We open the amp and inspect the PCB under magnification for blown capacitors, corroded traces, and relay damage.
Component Testing
Voltage regulator, output relay, capacitors, and DSP chip tested with multimeter and oscilloscope to isolate the exact failure.
Failed Component Replacement
Bad capacitors, relay, and/or voltage regulator replaced with quality parts. No shotgun approach — we fix what actually failed.
Trace and Pad Repair
Leaked electrolyte often corrodes copper traces. We clean the board and repair any damaged traces before reassembly.
Full Audio Test
All channels tested with signal injection. We verify clean output on every speaker channel before shipping back.
